Something for Everyone

With dozens of social and sailing events every week, there is always something to fill your days, lift your spirits and liven up your summer.

Sailing thru the Summer

For more than 80 years, the Brigantine Yacht Club has provided one of the highest quality sailing programs in the Mid-Atlantic region.  Founded in 1945, the BYC brings together people interested in sailing, boating, good sportsmanship, and good fellowship.  Our bay is widely considered one of the best sailing areas in all of New Jersey.

We educate children and adults in the art and science of sailing, all while maintaining a friendly and vibrant social scene.   The BYC encourages participation by its members in recreational boating activities as well as competitive dinghy racing.  The club is an active member of the Mid Atlantic Yacht Racing Association and frequently hosts regional competitions for various classes of sail boats.  Boaters of all types will find support for safe and enjoyable boating at the Brigantine Yacht Club.

The BYC provides a full menu of summer activities for youth and adults with opportunities for members, their families, and guests to mingle and socialize.  From casual Friday evenings at the Sunset Bar to organized parties and events, including a book club, yoga classes, mahjong, barbeque evenings and more.  There is something on the schedule at the BYC to suit all tastes.  Our club values volunteerism and relies upon members to lend their skills and talents for the good of all.

The Brigantine Yacht Club is an active member of the Brigantine community and supports events such as the Rodger Lucy, Jim King Memorial swim, Stockton University rowing regattas as well as other community events.
